Am I the only one who got a camera full of beach sand and a note that said 'good luck'?
A guy dropped off a Nikon FM2 at my bench in Long Beach with sand packed into the film chamber and a sticky note that just read 'good luck.' I spent 4 hours with a soft brush and canned air and somehow the shutter still fired clean at every speed. He came back two days later with a case of beer and told me the camera survived a whole beach trip plus a toddler. What's the worst gunk you folks have pulled out of a customer body, and did it ever actually work after?
