Update: I started zip tying a scrap piece of coax to my drill, and it stopped falling off the ladder 4 times a day
Kept dropping my drill off the top of the ladder on a 3 story job in Bakersfield last week, and after the second time my heart almost stopped. So I looped a 6 inch scrap of RG6 through the handle and clipped it to my belt with a carabiner, and it just dangles there when I need both hands. Sounds dumb but I have not dropped it once since Tuesday. Any of you rig something like this or do you just eat the cost of a new drill every year?
