This attic in Phoenix yesterday felt like a 120 degree oven with extra fiberglass

I had to run a new line for a customer's home office, and the only path was through their unfinished attic. My thermometer read 128 degrees up there, and I was stuck for almost two hours trying to fish the cable through a wall with zero clearance. The insulation was so thick I had to wear my full suit, and I drank two liters of water without even needing to use the bathroom. What's the worst attic or crawlspace you've had to work in, and how do you even prepare for that?

Man, that sounds brutal. I started bringing a small battery powered fan that clips to my ladder, and it's a total game changer for moving a little air right in your face. I also freeze a couple water bottles solid the night before, so they stay cold way longer in the heat. Those thin cooling towels around your neck help a bit too, even if you feel silly. Nothing makes it easy, but that combo keeps me from getting sick.

My neck towel saved me last Tuesday.
