Swapped the old quad shield for a spool of plain RG6 in a 1970s build out in Mesa and my return levels cleaned up
Five of the eight outlets in that single-story home had return loss sitting around -12 to -14 dB with all that braid and foil stacked up, then after the swap every drop read -18 or better at 750 MHz with the same fittings and terminations, so has anyone else seen quad shield hurt more than help on a tight old install like this?
