Stopped using those cheap plastic connectors on RG6

Kept getting service calls back after 3 months. Same customers every time. Signal would drop out, come back, drop out again. Switched to compression connectors with weather boots. That was 18 months ago. Zero callbacks since. You using compression or crimp?

Heard that loud and clear. Used those cheap crimp connectors once and spent more time fixing them than I did installing them in the first place. Switched to compression fittings with boots and haven't looked back since.

I had this whole drip system I put in for my mom's garden and those crimp connectors kept popping off every time the water pressure changed. Drove me nuts. Ended up redoing half of it with compression fittings and it's been solid for like two years now. Never going back either.
