Retired a 12-year-old toner after a crawlspace job in Tulsa

That old unit finally gave out mid-splice, so I swapped in a spare I had in the truck. The new one reads pairs in half the time, has anyone else found a toner that holds up in damp basements?

I have a Fluke that’s been through plenty of wet crawlspaces and still works fine, just gotta wipe the leads down after. Did yours die from moisture or just old age?
