Realized my meal prep saves more than just cash during installs
Packing lunch lets me skip drive-thrus. I gain extra minutes for tricky cable pulls.

Honestly that focus thing is key. Like when you're trying to trace a single wire in a bundle and your brain just gets foggy if you're hungry. Tbh I'm curious, what kind of meal are you packing that actually keeps you full through that kind of work? I tried just a sandwich once and was starving again by ten.

That idea of gaining extra minutes for tricky tasks is so true. I remember helping a friend rewire his garage, and packing sandwiches felt like unlocking a secret hour by avoiding the lunch rush. (Seriously, wait times add up fast.) We used that saved time to untangle a huge mess of old cables, which would have taken longer if we were hungry and rushing. It's not just about the money saved, it's about keeping your focus sharp when you need it most. Having your own food lets you tackle frustrating parts without losing your cool.

No way you were untangling old wires while hungry! That sounds like a recipe for yanking something you shouldn't. My hands get so clumsy when I'm starving, I'd probably rip a wire right out. The focus thing is so real, but for me it's more about not making a huge mistake because I'm hangry and impatient. I'd be scared to touch anything electrical without a clear head and a full stomach.
