I finally switched from Klein crimpers to the Ideal ones for coax ends

Used Klein for like 6 years cause that's what the old guys all used. Last week I grabbed a pair of the Ideal 30-425s on a whim at a supply house in Denver. Night and day difference on RG6 compression fittings. The Kleins would slip sometimes or not seat the connector all the way. Did 30 ends with the Ideals and not one bad crimp. Way less hand fatigue too cause the handle shape is better. Anyone else made the swap and notice it?

Oh man, don't get me started on those Klein crimpers. I swear the old guys treat them like a sacred relic. Switched to the 30-425s myself about a year ago after fighting with a Klein that felt like it was made out of a bent paperclip. The difference is honestly embarrassing for Klein. You know the first time you get a perfect crimp and your hand doesn't ache like you just tried to crush a can of beans? That's the moment you wonder why you suffered those six years for nothing. Now I just feel bad for every customer whose coax I messed up with the old ones.

Did you hear about my buddy who snapped a Klein crimper in half on his first try?
