Hit 500 feet of buried cable pulled in one day on a solo job

Never thought I'd manage that without a helper, but using a new cable lube and my old Greenlee puller made it happen. Anyone else have a personal record that shocked them?

That new cable lube must be magic. My personal record was untangling a spool that looked like a bird's nest.

Man that spool took me three straight hours one night after my kid went to bed. I kept telling myself "just one more loop" and then an hour later I was still there picking at it with a guitar pick. The cable lube definitely helped but I honestly think half the battle is just being stubborn enough to not cut the whole thing and start fresh. My fingers were cramping up so bad I couldn't hold a fork at dinner. Props to kim.hannah for getting through one too, that kind of patience is a superpower honestly.
