Blew a $600 paycheck fixing a splitter mess from 3 years ago
Last week I walked into a house where some hack had used 3 way splitters all through the attic and I spent my whole Sunday redoing it, anyone else run into this garbage work?

My advice is to check every junction before you even touch a tool, it saves you from chasing ghosts later. I carry a portable signal meter and test each line first to figure out which splitters were trash and which are still good. A little prep work upfront beats ripping your hair out on a Sunday every time.
