A 20 year install vet in Tampa laughed at my $12 crimper, then he tried it on 40 drops
I grabbed a cheap crimper off a truck stop rack in Tampa for $12 thinking it would snap on the first rg6 fitting. A 20 year vet on my crew laughed at me and said that thing would quit by lunch, but he borrowed it for 40 drops that week and ended up ordering two for his own van. The ratchet still bites clean and I have not had a single loose fitting since. Anybody got a cheap tool that surprised you like that, or am I just lucky with this one?
