The time a client wanted their cabinet doors to 'float'
Had a lady last month insist her upper cabinets needed a 1/4 inch gap all around each door so they'd look like they were hovering. I tried to explain about dust and grease getting in there, but she showed me a Pinterest photo and that was that. Anyone else run into homeowners who get wild ideas from social media that just don't work in a real kitchen?

That Pinterest photo probably didn't show the 3 months of greasy dust buildup that's coming. Good luck explaining that while she's wiping each gap with a toothpick.

Three months of picking crud out of her countertops with a toothpick, that's a hard pass from me.
