Did you try looking for a generic replacement seal or gasket instead of buying the whole bag again? I fixed mine with a cheap silicone strip off Amazon and it sealed even BETTER than before.

Feeling your pain on this one, it's such a letdown when a simple fix turns into a whole thing. Glad you found a workaround though, that gives me some hope for mine.

Ha, yeah "simple fix turning into a whole thing" - that's basically my life story. I once spent three hours trying to fix a loose hinge on a cabinet door and ended up having to buy a new cabinet.
