Learning a jig trick at a small shop in Ohio changed my workflow
Visited a buddy's shop in Akron last month, mostly to borrow his domino joiner. He showed me this simple angled spacer jig he made for cabinet doors, just scraps of plywood and a hinge. It took me maybe 20 minutes to build one for my own bench, and now my inset doors line up every time without me measuring twice. I used to fight with shims for at least an hour per door, now it's a five minute setup. Has anyone else built a jig that saved them way more time than they expected?
