Used to track every single project like that too. The count just makes it feel like a grind after a while. Dropping the numbers helped me enjoy the actual work again.

Keeping count is the first sign you're about to burn out. I stopped logging jobs around number fifty and just focused on the next one. It made the work feel less like a tally sheet.

My buddy said the same thing about the tally sheet feeling. He got way happier just doing the work in front of him.
