Hot take: I gave up on dominoes for drawer boxes after spending 5 hours on one 12 inch drawer
Kept getting tearout on the half blinds in maple no matter how slow I fed it, so I finally just switched to a 1/4 inch dado and glue and the thing went together in 20 minutes, has anyone else ditched joinery for speed on painted drawer boxes or am I alone here?

Ha, I did the same thing last year and never looked back. Painted drawers don't need fancy joints, they need to be done.
