Hit 1,000 drawer boxes built and the last one was a total disaster
I was finishing up a big kitchen job and that last drawer for the corner cabinet just would not square up, no matter how many times I ran it through the table saw. My apprentice finally pointed out I'd been reading the tape measure upside down for the last half hour. Anyone else ever have a dumb mistake right when you think you've got something nailed down?

Tell me about it, I swear the universe loves to humble you right at the finish line. Was it one of those corner drawers with the weird angled sides that just multiplies any tiny measuring error? Those things are the worst.

My brother tried building one from memory once, ended up with a drawer that opened into the wall.

Read a whole article about that exact problem, @the_patricia.
