Hand cutting dovetails vs router jig, the switch took me 2 jobs too long
I spent 8 years doing every dovetail by hand because I thought a jig would make me lazy. Finally caved during a big kitchen run in Portland and grabbed a used Leigh jig for $150, and now I can knock out a drawer in 20 minutes instead of 90. Anyone else fight the old-school pride thing when upgrading their approach?
