Ruined 40 pins on Tuesday because of one dumb mistake with the plastic backer
Was pressing a batch of 1 inch pins in my garage and kept getting these bent edges on one side, drove me nuts for an hour. Turned out my backer plate wasn't sitting flat, a tiny bit of dried glue from a project in March was stuck under it, scraped it off with a fingernail and the next 40 came out clean. Anyone else keep a spare backer plate around just in case?
