Showerthought: my microwave beep vs my old one and I can't decide which is worse
My old microwave did one loud BEEP and that was it, but the new one at my apartment in Portland beeps 5 times in a row and I can't turn it off. I timed it last night and the whole thing takes 8 seconds, which feels like forever when you just want your leftovers. Some people say the repeating beep is better because you actually hear it from the other room, but I think one loud beep is cleaner. Which one do you guys hate less, the single blast or the annoying little song?

Feel your pain on that 5 beep thing, mine does the same and I still haven't found a way to kill it.
