Pro tip: I counted 41 clicks to save one photo, and that's why I still pick physical buttons over touchscreen menus
Everyone in the camera groups keeps telling me the new touchscreen bodies are faster, so I actually timed myself on my old DSLR last Tuesday. Changing the drive mode and exposure comp took 3 clicks and a dial twist, about 2 seconds. On the borrowed mirrorless I counted 41 taps through 4 menu screens for the same two settings, and I missed the shot of my dog jumping the fence. A guy at the shop in Austin told me I just needed to set up the custom menu, but I don't want to build a whole shortcut system for something a button already does. Anyone else keeping old gear just for the controls, or am I being stubborn?
