Hot take: flat touch buttons in cars beat real knobs and I'm tired of pretending otherwise
I know this community loves a good clicky knob, but after driving my buddy's 2019 Civic with real climate dials and then my own car with a touch panel, I actually prefer the touch. Here's the thing nobody admits: I can run the touch screen by feel once I learn where things sit, the same way I type without looking, and after about 2 weeks of daily driving it became muscle memory. The dials in his car are fine but they only do temp and fan, so for anything else he still has to poke at a screen anyway. Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather have one consistent interface than half knobs and half glass. Has anyone here actually given a full touch setup a real month before writing it off?
