Pro tip: don't label your sausage trays with a sharpie while the health inspector is standing right there
So last Tuesday at the shop on Marsh Street I'm labeling pork links and spicy italian, and the inspector, a guy named Dale, is watching me the whole time. I grab the wrong marker and write "HOT" in giant red letters on a tray of mild breakfast sausage, then panic and try to wipe it off with my thumb. Dale just looks at me, pulls out his own pen, and says "that's gonna be a 92 instead of a 96," and walks off. Anyone got a trick for removing sharpie off plastic trays without scratching the hell out of them?
