A customer at my shop in Reno poked my pork butt with a bare thumb and told me it was dry
Last Tuesday a guy came in, reached over the glass with his bare hands, and squeezed a raw pork butt I had priced at $16, then told me it felt dry. I have been cutting meat for 19 years and I still do not understand what goes through someone's head before they touch raw product they have no plan to buy. Do any of you keep a spray bottle or something just to keep people's hands off the case, or is it just me losing my mind over this?
