The warehouse shelving at Lowe's made me rethink my whole garage setup

Hang on, you actually went to Lowes and looked at their metal shelving? The stuff they have in the back is honestly crazy heavy duty. Are you talking about the big industrial racks they keep the lumber on? Those things are built like tanks. I was there last week and just stared at them for a solid five minutes thinking about how organized my life could be.

Those Lowes racks are rated for like 4,000 pounds per shelf if you bolt them right. @rowanp15 has the right idea because most people don't realize those store racks use a special rivet design that doesn't slip like the cheap home shelving. I picked up a used set from a closing grocery store for $150 and my garage has never been the same.
