Spent 45 minutes searching for a 10mm socket that was in my back pocket the whole time.
How does a 10mm socket even vanish that fast when you just had it in your hand 2 seconds ago, is there like a secret portal for these things?

Honestly, do you really think it's a secret portal? I mean if there was a 10mm vortex to another dimension, wouldn't we have found it by now with all the missing ones? Tbh it's way more likely that your back pocket just has a black hole in the seam that swallows things the second you look away. I've had a few sockets end up in the weirdest spots like the lint trap on my dryer because I sat down and forgot.

A buddy of mine once found three 10mm sockets in the lining of his winter coat. He'd been missing them for over a year and just gave up looking. They were all nestled together in a little pocket near the zipper that he didn't even know existed. Claimed he hadn't worn that coat in months, so the sockets just stayed there the whole time.
