Manual drafting took me 3 days, CAD took 3 hours, but I still miss the feel

I used to hand draft everything when I started out in 2016. My kitchen remodel plans were all on vellum with a 0.5mm mechanical pencil. Took me 3 days to do a full set of floor plans with all the dims and notes. I loved that physical connection, the eraser shavings, the smell of the paper. Then last year I switched to CAD for a 30-unit apartment job and honestly, it saved my back. No more hunching over a light table for 10 hours. But now when I look at a screen, I feel like something's missing. The drawings feel too clean, too perfect. Anyone else deal with this itch after switching tools? Which do you reach for first now, and does it ever feel wrong?
