I spent $400 on a fancy tile saw for a bathroom job and barely used it

I was sure I needed a pro-grade saw for a subway tile wall in my own house. After the first few cuts, I realized my old $80 manual cutter was doing the same job faster and with less mess. The big saw just sat there taking up half my garage for the whole project. Now I'm stuck trying to sell a nearly new tool for half what I paid. Anyone else buy a piece of gear for one specific job that turned out to be overkill?

That saw is just a really expensive garage decoration now.

Yeah, @the_gray, my dad has one of those fancy paperweights too.

Tbh that manual cutter thing is the real deal. I did the same exact thing with a wet saw for my kitchen backsplash, dropped $350 on a big name brand. Used it for about 12 cuts, then realized the score and snap was way cleaner. Now it's sitting in my shed collecting cobwebs next to a pressure washer I bought for one driveway. The fancy saw just feels like a total waste of space and cash. At least your old cutter still works fine, mine's just a reminder of bad decisions.
