Finally got my home office layout right after a weekend at my brother's place
I was over there helping him move and saw how he had his desk facing the window instead of the wall. Tried it at home and the natural light is way better for sketching out ideas, plus I'm not staring at a blank wall all day. Anyone else find a simple furniture flip made a huge difference?

Ever notice how the best solutions are usually the simplest? We get so used to how things are set up, we forget to question it. Your desk facing the wall is just the default for most people. But that small change, turning it around, can completely shift your headspace. It's not just about light, it's about what you're looking at all day shaping your thoughts. Makes you wonder what other tiny tweaks we're all missing.

But what if staring at a blank wall is actually better for focus? I mean, a window is just a big distraction box with weather and people walking by. Maybe the default desk facing the wall exists because it helps you actually get work done instead of just daydreaming out the window. Idk, sometimes a simple change is just a change, not an upgrade.
