Went from $140 a week on takeout to $35 on groceries after one dumb change
I used to grab dinner out 4 or 5 nights a week near my place in Columbus, which came to about $140 a week, until I started cooking one big pot of something on Sunday and portioning it into 5 containers. Six weeks in, my grocery bill is $35 a week and I'm actually eating better, mostly because I stopped deciding what to eat when I was already hungry and tired at 7pm. What's the one cheap meal you make that doesn't feel like punishment by day 3?
