Just saved $60 a month by switching my phone plan

I was paying $85 a month for a big carrier and barely used half my data. Last week I switched to Mint Mobile's $25 plan after a buddy at work said he'd been using it for a year. Been a week and the service is exactly the same for me here in Austin. Anyone else made a switch like this and found hidden fees later?

it's funny how once you start looking for it, you see the same story everywhere. car insurance, streaming services, even my gym membership. companies count on you just not bothering to check what else is out there. my sister was paying $150 a month for cable she only watched Sunday football on, finally cut the cord and got an antenna and streaming for like $40. you just kinda have to take the leap and find out if the hidden fees show up, i haven't seen any with mint after six months. feels like half the stuff we overpay for is just momentum and laziness on our part.

Drove past three car insurance places yesterday @blair_dixon, wild how they're all on every corner selling the same thing at different prices.
