Hot take: a friend glanced at my budget spreadsheet and asked why rent was 'hidden' in row 40
I had been tracking everything in one fat tab for 2 years, with fixed costs like rent and insurance buried way down near the bottom under groceries and gas. She pointed at it and said she almost missed the biggest number on the page, so I split one tab into two: bills that never move and stuff I actually control. Does anyone else keep their fixed costs in a separate tab or do you just throw it all in one and sort it?

One tab is fine, just sort by amount lol.
