Drove 40 miles to a bulk store and left with a $9 regret
Went to that big bulk place outside Columbus last weekend, the one where you need a membership. I was so hyped to stock up on rice and beans, but the math did not work out. A 25 pound bag of rice was $14, but my usual 2 pound bag at the corner store is $3.50, so I only save like 2 bucks and have to find space for a giant sack. Plus I spent $6 in gas to get there. Is anyone else finding these bulk clubs only pay off if you have a huge family or a deep freezer?
