Am I the only one who spent $60 on a meal prep service and ended up eating out anyway?
I signed up for that cheap meal prep delivery plan last month thinking it would save me big on groceries, but the portions were tiny and I still grabbed fast food three times that week. So I basically threw away $60 on fancy salads I didn't even finish. Has this backfired for anyone else or am I just bad at planning?

Half the stuff we buy assumes we'll suddenly become different people overnight.

Get rid of the "suddenly" part. Nobody wakes up one day and decides to be a different person. It's more like we buy stuff hoping it'll help us nudge ourselves in a new direction, not flip a switch. That new blender isn't going to magically make you a morning smoothie person if you've never been one. It's just a tool, you still have to do the work.
