The $4 hostel breakfast that cost me $60 in laundromat fees
Woke up at a place in Lisbon at 6am, grabbed their free toast and jam, and spilled a full cup of coffee down my only pair of clean pants. Spent the whole morning hunting down a coin laundry that actually worked, and it ate almost every coin I had. Has anyone else had a budget breakfast backfire this badly, or am I just cursed with clumsy mornings?

Man, that hurts just reading it. I once spilled a whole cup of tea on my last clean shirt before a flight, so I feel your pain on a deep level.
