Started packing a kettle and a bag of oatmeal for hotel rooms, saved about $60 on a 5 day trip
I got tired of paying $14 for a sad hotel breakfast in Boise, so I started throwing a small travel kettle and instant oats in my carry on. It worked better than I expected, I ate in my room every morning and put that money toward a real dinner instead. Does anyone else bring food gear on trips, or do you just eat out and budget for it?
