Rant: That trick about booking flights on Tuesday is a lie, here's what actually works

I wasted like 6 months checking flights every Tuesday at midnight for a trip to Barcelona and never saw any savings. Then I read a post from a former airline pricing guy who said the real hack is to clear your cookies and search in incognito mode on a Wednesday afternoon. I tried it and my ticket to Barcelona went from $680 to $520 in about 10 minutes. Has anyone else had luck with specific days or times that aren't the usual nonsense?

Ngl I read that and literally said "no way" out loud. $680 to $520 is a wild drop just from doing that. I gotta try this Wednesday thing now.

lol @reese551 i had the same reaction when my buddy told me about it. i started doing my grocery run on wednesdays too and it knocked like 40 bucks off my usual bill. the trick is to hit up the meat section first cause they mark down stuff that's gotta move before the weekend. plus the bakery stuff is half off most wednesdays too. i been doing it for like 3 months now and it's pretty solid.
