Honestly I used to think the same thing, that it was just some weird travel hack that never worked. Tbh I tried booking on a Tuesday afternoon for a trip to Chicago last month and it was legit cheaper. Ngl I don't know why it works but I'm not arguing with saving money. I'm definitely checking Tuesday afternoons from now on.

Okay the Tuesday afternoon thing is REAL. @felix_martin56 you're totally right. It made me remember this one time I was booking a flight to Denver and I checked on a Monday night and it was like $300. Got busy, forgot, checked again Tuesday around 3 pm and the same flight was $220. I just stared at my screen. It's one of those things that makes no sense but you just accept it, like how gas is cheaper on certain days. Now I set a little phone reminder for myself.

My flight to Phoenix dropped $75 between Monday morning and Tuesday afternoon last fall. I always check twice now because the timing really does make a difference. It feels random but the savings are real.
