Bus vs train to CDG was a real wakeup call for me

I used to swear by the Roissybus whenever I flew out of Paris, figured 13 euros beat the RER train every time. Then last month I hit traffic near Opera and sat for 45 minutes just to get to Terminal 2. Now I take the RER B for 11.30 euros and time it like a clock, the train is just way more predictable. Has anyone else ditched a 'cheap' option because the time cost was actually higher?

My last Roissybus trip I sat so long near Place de l'Opera that I actually started counting the same red Fiat on the other side of the highway. I swore off buses that day, my patience just isn't built for that kind of traffic roulette lol.
