My grocery store in Tulsa marked down bruised produce and I saved $18 in one trip

I was at the Aldi on 41st street last Tuesday and noticed they had a whole cart of dented cans and slightly soft peppers with orange discount stickers. I grabbed a bag of apples with a few brown spots for 99 cents and a big pack of chicken that was near its sell-by date for like $4. Made a stew that night and it fed me three days, no issues at all. Does your local store do this too, or is it just the one near me?
