My grocery bill dropped $60 a month when I started shopping at the dented can store in Toledo
Three months back my wife lost her hours at the hospital and we had to squeeze the food budget fast, so I finally checked out that little surplus grocery on Lagrange Street that sells cans with dents and boxes with torn corners. Turns out the food is exactly the same inside, and we walked out with two full bags for $23, which used to cost us closer to $60 at the big chain. Does anyone here have a favorite discount grocery or salvage store, and what is actually worth buying there versus what you skip?
