My cheap chicken dinner turned into lunches too, need advice on similar saves
So last week, I bought a whole chicken on sale and roasted it. The first night we had it with rice and veggies. Then I used the leftovers for sandwiches and a soup. I mean, it felt like a big win for my wallet. Idk, maybe it's just me but I'm hooked on saving money this way. What are your go-to meals that make ingredients last? I'd love to hear any cheap recipes you swear by.

Calling it a 'hack' IS honestly pathetic.

Wow, you discovered the ancient art of leftovers. People act like this is some big secret, but it's just using your brain. I do the same thing with a big pot of chili that lasts all week. Beans and rice are another one that costs nothing and fills you up. It's sad that cooking at home feels like a hack now. Just buy cheap stuff and don't waste food, it's not rocket science.

Saw a food writer say we treat "cooking with what's in your fridge" like a gourmet skill now lol. Makes the whole "leftover hack" thing even weirder.
