My $15 grocery run last Tuesday turned into a week of chili and rice
I grabbed a bag of dried beans, a can of tomatoes, and a cheap chuck roast on markdown, threw it all in the slow cooker, and ended up with 4 solid dinners and 3 lunches for under $2 a plate, so has anyone else found that dried beans stretch way further than canned ones for meal prep?

Canned beans are just as fine and save you the soaking hassle.

Read something from a chef once that said the canning liquid adds a weird metallic taste, but I don't really notice it after rinsing.
