Had to pick between buying a $7 frozen pizza or making one from scratch with pantry stuff. Went homemade and it was way cheaper.
I was hungry last night and almost grabbed a frozen pizza at the store. But I remembered I had some flour, a can of tomato sauce, and a little bit of cheese left. The homemade dough took about 10 minutes to put together, and the whole thing probably cost under $2. Tasted better too. What's your go-to 'almost ordered takeout' pantry meal?

Honestly, I always thought making dough was a huge hassle. But trying it once with leftover spaghetti sauce and some cheese totally proved me wrong. It's stupid easy and saves a ton of cash.

My buddy Dave swore up and down that homemade pizza dough was some kind of magic trick. He finally tried it last week with his kids, just flour, water, yeast, and salt. They had sauce and cheese already. He sent me a picture of the pizza and a text that just said "why did I ever order from that expensive place?" He's made it three times since then.
