Frozen veggie packs saved my grocery budget in Denver

I was spending like $60 a week on fresh produce and half of it would go bad before I could use it. Switched to the $1 bags of frozen broccoli and mixed vegetables from Walmart. Now I just grab what I need and nothing rots in the fridge. Has anyone else noticed how much longer frozen lasts compared to fresh stuff?

That thing about nothing rotting in the fridge is the real win... it's like we've been trained to think fresh is always better but half the time it just turns into compost. I've noticed this pattern everywhere, people buying in bulk or fresh just because it's expected, then wasting so much money and food. Frozen stuff forces you to actually use what you have, which is a smarter way to eat honestly.

Is it really that deep though, people have been wasting food since forever.

Wait, $60 a week on fresh produce? That is insane. I don't know how you were dropping that much money just on vegetables. I mean I spend like $30 total for my whole weekly grocery run and that includes everything. The frozen broccoli is a lifesaver too because it doesn't turn into that weird slimy mess after three days. What made you finally decide to try frozen over fresh?
