Bulk rice bin at Aldi nearly cost me a trip to the ER

I was at the Aldi on Thompson Lane last Tuesday grabbing my usual 25 pound bag of jasmine rice. Got it home and poured some into my container and saw little black specks moving around. Turns out the whole bag had weevils in it. I had to throw the whole thing out and scrub my pantry down with vinegar.

Bulk rice bin at Aldi nearly cost me a trip to the ER" - c'mon man, a weevil infestation is gross and annoying but not exactly a medical emergency. Unless you ate a handful of them raw and had a bad reaction, this is more of a pantry cleaning hassle than a hospital visit. Just call Aldi and get a refund, toss the rice, and move on with your life.

Bro. You are totally missing the point here. A full blown weevil infestation is way more than just a "little hassle." It means every crumb in your pantry could be contaminated and you have to basically deep clean everything. Plus, some people have legit allergies to weevil parts and droppings. I would be absolutely livid if I paid for a 25 pound bag and got bugs. Aldi should be doing better quality control on their bulk bins.
