Am I the only one who thinks a $30 rice cooker beats a $200 one for cheap meals?
I grabbed a $30 Aroma rice cooker at Walmart about 8 months ago and it's been making beans, rice, and even steamed veggies nonstop, so my grocery bill dropped maybe $40 a month. But my buddy swears his $200 Zojirushi cooks rice way better and holds it warm all day, which he says means less waste. For folks eating cheap on purpose, is the fancy one actually worth the extra cash, or is it just paying for a name?
