Warning: Stop adding too much water to your mortar mix
I keep seeing guys on job sites in Denver dumping extra water into their mortar to make it easier to spread. It weakens the whole bond and you'll end up with cracked joints inside 2 years. My foreman showed me the difference with a slump test last spring and I've never gone back. Anyone else run into this on their sites?
