I snapped a pic of the wage sheet pinned next to the coffee pot at the hall on Tuesday because I wanted to see what I'd be making down the road. Turns out the step from 2nd year to 3rd year is just $1.85 more an hour, but 3rd to 4th jumps almost $4.50. I always figured it climbed even, like a nice little ladder, and it does not. Some of the older guys shrugged it off like that is just how it goes, but nobody could tell me why the middle step is so flat. It kind of kills the push to grind through 2nd year when 3rd is barely a raise, you know? Anybody else seen their local's scale laid out like that, or is mine just weird?
