Rant: The brickwork on that new library downtown is a total mess
I was walking past the new public library on Main Street yesterday and had to stop and stare. The soldier course above the main entrance is completely out of whack, like the mason was rushing or something. The joints are all different sizes, some are over half an inch thick while others are barely a quarter. It looks so sloppy from the street, especially on a public building that cost who knows how much. I don't get how a crew lets that pass inspection. Has anyone else seen a job go up recently where the quality control just wasn't there?
